Manhattan Maharajah

Brooklyn–correct that–you know how big a fan I am of alliteration, and to be fair, I did spend a few minutes getting dressed in Manhattan.  Wataru, of the skillfully curated street style site An Unknown Quantity, took some photographs of me for his site on the day I channeled the idea of an Indian prince coming to the city: geometric prints, floral tapestry, and jewels, pared down with a blazer and dirty black jeans.

Ray-Ban aviators, Comme des Garcons jacket, Ann Demeulemeester vest, Uniqlo jeans, vintage jewelry, Number (N)ine shoes

vintage chain mail cuff from India

floral tapestry shoes from one of Miyashita's last collections for Number (N)ine

That jacket is to be envied. It seems as if it were a piece from the most recent Jil Sander collection.

I love how you put the jacket, vest, jeans, shoes and jewelry all together. It made the whole outfit relaxed but with a lot of style!
