Summer Blacks

Celine portfolio, L.L.Bean Blucher moccasins, Illesteva Leonard wood sunglasses in black bamboo

Summer, like many past, will be filled with black—this one in particular with blacks long and billowy, and short and skimpy.  The sunglasses need no explanation; they are the all-black version of the cherry wood ones I have, light, large, and very comfy.  Drapey drop-crotch trousers and tiny 70′s leisure shorts are nicely punctuated by the rugged masculinity of these L.L.Bean blucher moccasins.  And to keep the pant lines clean and bare, all pocket contents, including sunglasses, are emptied and find their place in the infinitely functional multi-gusseted Celine lambskin portfolio.

You have an amazing blog! Can you maybe tell me where you got that Celine portfolio bag? I can’t seem to find it anywhere! And do you happen to know the retail price?

Thanks. It’s still available at Barney’s New York, I believe! You can give them a call about the price.
