Pebbled and Pelted

In light of the exemplary functionality my white Phillip Lim 31 Hour bag has demonstrated, I am currently evaluating the merits of expanding the investment.  I seek funding for the 31 hour weekender in polished shoulder grain and the 31 minute clutch in leather and curly shearling, such richly textured expenses!  Prospective financiers please inquire within.

Pebbled and Pelted: 3.1 Phillip Lim 31 Hour weekender in black polished shoulder grain and 31 Minute bag in leather and shearling

Much as I try to resist, I can never have too many big black bags in my arsenal of portable receptacles. The 31 Hour weekender in black pebbled leather is rich, sturdy, and clean.

As both a supplement to the larger bag and a stand-alone piece, I feel that I really need this furry one for the Fall. Upright, I can carry it as a portfolio, say, with a relaxed boiled wool suit to a creative business meeting, and folded across, it'll be a concise little essentials container for supermarket runs in a hoodie, Comme drop-crotch pants, and warm slip-on sneakers. I really appreciate the placement of the sturdier whipstitched handle on this clutch.

That is a good-looking furry clutch. Would love to get that, but I think I’ll end up getting the all-leather one instead.

It’s the handle that makes the clutch! I wish you hadn’t shown me this, I’m so tempted now… It’ll be my second Phillip Lim clutch to add to the collection :-/

Izzy, just out of curiosity, what is it that you do for work? I was just wondering how is it that you afford all these magnificent pieces. It’s clearly obvious that you come from a cultured, wealthy family, but what did you study/work in?

Hi Trey– I studied management engineering, then went to grad school for a master’s in communication, major in advertising, and now I do communications consulting, and manage this blog.

I have the leather-interior neoprene-exterior large women’s clutch from last year in black. I love that the luxury leather part is completely hidden inside until I open it up.
